It has been claimed that Mikel Arteta wants Arsenal to sign Dusan Vlahovic in the summer window – so he can have his very ow Erling Haalnd in the side.

Right now ARSENAL are sitting top of the Premier League and are the only real challengers to Man City for that title – if they are able to keep on winning between now and the end of the season.

Some reports have suggested that Arsenal are set to smash their summer transfer record in a bid to back Arteta in the upcoming transfer window, to add a new striker, midfielder and maybe defender to the side.

One striker they really like is £214,000-per-week striker Vlahovic, as Arteta is reporterdly “attracted” to Vlahovic’s playing style, and would like to add him to the side when the season is up and the transfer window is open.

As reported by Football Italia, there is a possibility that Vlahovic could be sold by the Italians at the end of the season as they will look to freshen up the side, and Arsenal is eager to add him to their squad.

The Gunners hope that Vlahovic will have the ability to bang in the goals on a weekly basis – much like Haaland is for Manchester City.

If Arteta gets the backing of the board and Vlahovic is a striker that he wants – then it will be an easy deal to get done as the big man is perfect for the style of play at the Emirates – and Juventus are always ready to cash in for the right money.

We are not sure that anybody can bang in the amount of goals that Haaland can right now – but Vlahovic could be a 25-35 goals a season hitman  -and that could be enough.

ARSENAL just need to make sure that they are prepared to pay some big money and then be patient with the striker
