The Vikram Bhatt directorial starred Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles. It was a rip-off of 1996 Hollywood film 'Fear'.

The Story

In the film, Amitabh played Bipasha's father who decides to protect his daughter after realising that her lover (John) is a psychopath.

The Box Office

It opened to a negative response and became a big box office disaster earning just Rs 4.25 cr in India and Rs 7.96 cr worldwide on a Rs 9.50 cr budget.

Till date, it remains the only film produced by Ratan Tata. Considering its terrible box office fate, the business tycoon never returned to filmmaking.
