Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has provided further context on her previous comments about singer Davido, emphasizing that she was simply responding to a question and not criticizing him.

Recall that In an interview in December 2023, Kate Henshaw shared her encounter with Davido, where they met, but he didn’t acknowledge her presence.

She expressed her belief in the importance of respect and personality.

She commended Davido for his philanthropic endeavors, especially when he donated hundreds of millions to orphanages.

Kate further lauded the OBO Crooner for representing Nigeria globally and maintaining a persistent drive to achieve personal goals, despite his affluent family background.

In the throwback interview, Kate Henshaw said, “Well, I’m not a fan. I like his music, but personally, I don’t know him. I’ve met him; he didn’t greet me. I’m sorry. No, I’m not sorry. I’m old enough. He didn’t greet, and for me, I believe he should be respectful. For me, personality matters.”

However in a recent appearance on “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” Kate Henshaw clarified that she was merely answering a question and not “reporting” Davido.

She emphasized that she had a conversation with him after the initial encounter, making it a non-issue.

“I was asked a question, and I answered it. I didn’t report anybody; I responded to the question. What is ‘report?’ What does report mean?”

“They asked about the person, and I was speaking about the knowledge and interaction that I had. I didn’t report, and we even had a conversation after that, so it’s really none of your business. That’s what you people do; you look for strife,” she said
