The highly anticipated St. Pete Pride Parade is fast approaching, and here's all you need to know to make the most of this fantastic weekend celebration.

Schedule:
Saturday
- The excitement begins with the street festival at 2 p.m. in North Straub Park, offering a wide range of food vendors, food trucks, a live DJ, and a beer garden. Best of all, this event is free for all attendees.
- The Trans March kicks off at 5:15 p.m. at Vinoy Park, followed by the grand St. Pete Pride Parade starting at 6 p.m. from Albert Whitted Park, making its way north on Bayshore Drive to Vinoy Park.

Sunday
- Don't miss the Grand Central Street Fair on June 23 from 12-5 p.m. in the Grand Central District, featuring live entertainment, delicious food, vendors, and fun carnival games. This event is also free and open to everyone.

Parking:
If you plan to drive, the Southcore and Sundial parking garages are the closest options to the parade route. Additionally, downtown parking lots and garages are available, but keep in mind that the St. Pete Pier will be open for pedestrian access only on Saturday from 4-9 p.m. Vehicle retrieval at the pier will resume at 9:30 p.m. For added convenience, consider using a rideshare service from North Straub Park or Vinoy Park.

Street Closures:
On Saturday, expect Central Avenue and surrounding cross streets to be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. between First Avenue N. and First Avenue S. from 20th Street to 31st Street. After the festivities, parts of Bayshore Drive and North and South Straub Parks will also be closed.

Public Transit:
With high traffic and limited parking predicted, take advantage of public transit options. The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority offers free services on Saturday. The SunRunner offers convenient stops at 32nd Street on First Avenue S. and First Avenue N., while park and ride locations at Tropicana Field and St. Petersburg High School provide easy access to the parade route.
