The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Health, Prof. Seiyefa Fun-Akpa Brisibe today went on evaluation and inspection of facilities on health centers and government hospitals in Yenagoa metropolis.

The Commissioner, Prof. Fun-Akpa Brisibe and his team visited, Diete Koki Memorial hospital, Bayelsa Medical University Clinic, and Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari Mother & Child Hospital at Azikoro town.

Prof. Brisibe who emphasized upgrade of outdated and poor facilities for proper workforce and sustainability of the healthcare systems on the heart of the capital city promised to visit all hospitals across the State for full scale evaluation and revamping.

He was joined by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, Dr. Oluwatonyin Azebi, Executive Secretary Primary HealthCare Board, Chief, Dr. Williams Appah, Dr. Agadah, Dr. Torunana, Dr. Ebikapaye Okoyen, other senior staff and members of the Ministry.
