The Abuja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, popularly known as Unity Bar has adopted Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN, as the Branch’s candidate for the office of the President of the NBA in the Associations forthcoming national leaders election scheduled to hold on 20th July 2024.
At the Branch’s monthly election held at the NBA Headquarters yesterday, the Branch deliberated a motion moved by Ajuluchukwu Ozo Eze Esq, that all candidates running for national offices from the Branch be adopted as the branch’s candidates for the election and a counter motion from Ugo Harris Esq and Marx Ikongbeh Esq and resolved that the motion for the adoption be carried in line with the tradition of the branch.
Mazi Osigwe SAN is contesting to be the 37th President of the Nigerian Bar Association against Chukwuka Ikwuazom SAN and Tobenna Erojikwe Esq, both of Lagos Branch of the NBA.
