VeryDarkMan was allegedly detained on the orders of the Police Commissioner of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, Igwe.

Lawyer Deji Adeyanju, via his social media handle, revealed the reason behind VeryDarkMan’s arrest by the police.

In his words, he said: “Our client, @thatverydarkman, has just been arrested by the police on the instruction of CP Igwe for exposing someone who allegedly duped a Nigerian abroad. Instead of the police arresting the person alleged to have committed fraud, they arrested VDM on allegations of defamation.”
