BEDFORD, Ohio — The City of Bedford and its Parks and Recreation Department recently announced the schedule and music groups for its 2024 Summer Concert Series events.

Scheduled to kick off on June 12 and run through August 21, this year’s concert series will feature performances every other Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bedford Commons, weather permitting.

Each concert will showcase a different band, ensuring a diverse musical experience throughout the summer. Audiences can look forward to an array of genres including polka, blues, jazz, rock, folk and hip hop.

The lineup:

June 12: Brian Papesh Party Band (rock, country and polka hits)

June 26: Tyrone’s Blues Sinsation (classic rock, blues, southern rock, Motown)

July 10: Herb Wilborn Jr. and his band (international recording jazz artist/flautist)

July 24: Tweed (Irish folk and contemporary)

Aug. 7: Jul Big Green (pop, hip hop and rock)

Aug. 21: Risk Factor (rock, pop, country hits)
