The Delta State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a young man named Stanley, accused of killing his six-year-old daughter, Abigail, in a suspected ritual murder. The horrifying incident occurred in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area.

According to the police spokesperson, Bright Edafe, the tragic event took place at Uvwiama New Layout in Agbarho. The suspect, Stanley, reportedly fled after committing the heinous act. The police have since commenced a search for him.

“The Command is aware of the gruesome murder of one Abigail, six years old, allegedly by her father, one Mr. Stanley. The sad and painful incident was reported by the brother of the fleeing suspect, who is in his 20s,” Edafe said in a statement.

The remains of the little girl have been deposited at the morgue, while the police continue their efforts to apprehend the suspect and bring him to justice.
