Flair said, “Another guy that could, in my eyes, would deserve to be the world champion or break that record would be Randy Orton. Randy’s had good and he’s been doing it. You think about it, Mark, all you guys, to be on top for 20 years, not, not, not just good, but on top for 20 years like John and Randy have. That’s a long time to be on top.”

Well, this truly sounds possible. Randy Orton has become one of the great figures of the 21st century on his own merits. The Viper is undoubtedly one of the main stars of the Stamford federation, as well as a true living legend.

The likelihood of Orton being the one to claim the throne

The WWE superstar has 25 years of experience in the business, during which time he has set some records that will hardly be surpassed in the future. “The Viper” has won 20 titles in the company, with 14 of them being world championships. Orton began his path to being a legend at SummerSlam 2004, where he defeated Chris Benoit to win his first World Heavyweight Championship at just 24 years old. Beating the previous record, which was held by Brock Lesnar, who achieved such a feat at the age of 25. Today, almost two decades later, Orton’s record still stands.

Orton is currently in a feud with The Bloodline on Friday Night SmackDown. At the same time, “The Viper” tried to add a new achievement to his record, becoming King of the Ring. However, the fighter was not able to overcome Gunther in the final of the tournament. But there have been several speculations of him turning heel against Cody Rhodes soon. So maybe Orton can be the one to break Flair’s record after all. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
