Liz Benson Ameye popularly known as Liz Benson, one of the most iconic Nollywood personalities of all time is making a big return to the screens. She will be starring in a movie by Bukola Ogunsola titled ‘Something About the Briggs.’

The esteemed veteran has reportedly taken on the role of a Marriage Counsellor in Ogunsola’s film. The film explores themes of wealth, family, and marriage.

The film is currently being shot in Abuja. It boasts a star-studded cast of industry titans such as Rita Dominic and Iyabo Ojo, veterans like Nobert Young, Gloria Young, Zack Orji, Bukky Wright, and Tunbosun Aiyedehin. The leading men include Daniel Etim-Effiong, Stan Nze, Kenneth Okoli, and Kalu Ikeagwu. There are also new movie favourites like Ariyike Owolagba, Elma Mbadiwe, Kanaga Junior, and Simi Drey.

On set, the actress was shining in her element, reminding everyone of her status as one of the biggest stars of the 90s and her continued iconic status in the industry.

The film is the third production for Bukola, the CEO of Revelation Pictures. She previously produced the 2019 film ‘Another Father’s Day‘ and its prequel, ‘Father’s Day,’ which starred Wale Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, among other notable actors.

‘Something About the Briggs‘ is a cinema-bound movie and it awaits announcement of its premiere date.
