Manchester United signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal during the January transfer window of 2018. The Chile international had been a target for Manchester City but United landed the forward, who has previously played for Cobreloa (Chile), Udinese and Barcelona, in a swap deal with the Gunners which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan heading to the Emirates. Sanchez rejected a new contract at Arsenal to force through a move. He played for three-and-a-half seasons for Arsenal, scoring 60 goals in 122 Premier League games. He has played more than 100 times for Chile and is currently on loan at Inter Milan.
