Volunteers from the North Fulton Community Charities are gearing up for their annual donation drive to collect new backpacks and school supplies for students in need. Making a Difference: Each year, the charity works tirelessly to ensure that students have the essential tools they need to succeed in school. Sherri Morgan, the director of development for NFCC, emphasizes the importance of these donations in supporting families facing financial hardships. Empowering Students for Success: By providing quality backpacks and supplies, supporters help children start the school year feeling prepared and ready to excel academically. The charity assists individuals in Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park, and Roswell. Giving Back: Last year, the organization distributed 1,083 new backpacks filled with supplies to 412 families in need. This year, donations can be dropped off at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on July 22-24.
