Iya Awero then went on to recount that soon after, her son accompanied her to a funeral, where they stayed overnight at the bereaved family’s home. Tragically, the next morning, she woke to find that her son had passed away in his sleep.
These deeply painful experiences and the overwhelming grief, she revealed, led her to question her own ability to continue acting. However, she expressed gratitude to God for granting her the strength to persevere until this day.
