2024 Free Portland Summer Concerts Schedule: Multicultural Festivals, Free Outdoor Movies & More!

Each summer, Portland comes alive with free outdoor concerts, festivals, and movies as part of the Summer Free For All Cultural Events (SFFA) program. This year, the 2024 program promises more than 50 events for people of all ages, celebrating diverse cultures and local artists across the city.

July Events

Saturday, July 6 | 6:00pm— East Portland Summer Arts Festival: Kickstarting the festivities with Allen Stone's soul-stirring R&B melodies and energetic vibes at Ventura Park.

Sunday, July 7 | 6:00pm—East Portland Summer Arts Festival: Enjoy the legendary Sheila E, world-famous singer, drummer, and queen of percussion, also at Ventura Park.

Thursday, July 11 | 6:30pm—Melao de Cuba Salsa Orchestra: Immerse yourself in the beauty and exuberance of traditional and current Cuban music at Mt. Tabor Park Amphitheater.

Friday, July 12 | 6:30pm—Picante: Experience traditional Afro-Cuban music with a fusion of Latin Jazz at McCoy Park.

Saturday, July 13 | 6:30pm—Tequila Highway: Dance to the upbeat cumbia and Latin funk rhythms at Gilbert Heights Park.

Saturday, July 13 | 12:00pm—Samoan Festival: Celebrate Samoan culture through dance, singing, art, food, and more at Peninsula Park.

Sunday, July 14 | 5:00pm—Television in the Park: Enjoy a reenactment of two hit TV Shows, Martin and The Jeffersons, at Mt. Tabor Park Amphitheater.

Thursday, July 18 | 6:30pm—Wamba: Feel the world beat with exciting African percussions and danceable grooves at Glenhaven Park.

Friday, July 19 | 6:30pm—Ache Son: Immerse yourself in the traditional and vibrant Cuban Music at Glenwood Park.

Saturday, July 20 | 6:00pm—BridgeCity Soul: Get down to old school and new school R&B, soul, and funk at Knott Park.

Friday, July 26 | 6:30pm—King Louie and Andy Stokes: Experience the dynamic sounds of soul, blues, and jazz at Jamison Square.

Saturday, July 27 | 6:30pm—Glass of Hearts: Enjoy a Blondie tribute band delivering all the punk, disco, and energy at Kenton Park.

Saturday, July 27 | 12:00pm—Jim PepperFest and the Riveters: Celebrate the legacy of Kaw/Muscogee musician Jim Pepper with Native artists and fry bread at Hoyt Arboretum-Stevens Pavilion.

August Events

Thursday, August 1 | 6:30pm—The Norman Sylvester Band: Join the Boogie Cat for a night of original blues and R&B with Lenanne Miller at Unthank Park.

Saturday, August 3 | 6:30pm—Barrio Mestizo: Dance to classic and contemporary salsa, cumbia, cha cha cha, and more at Verdell Rutherford Park.

Sunday, August 4 | 6:00pm—Opera in the Park Portland: Immerse yourself in romantic melodies from Verdi's beloved opera, La Traviata at Peninsula Park.

Thursday, August 8 | 6:30pm—Beat Frequency: Groove to pop, funk, and R&B duo with sweet, sultry, and soaring vocals at Woodstock Park.
