Felix Jaehn and Sophie Ellis-Bextor have teamed up for a new track titled “Ready For Your Love.” The pairing of Jaehn’s pulsing beats and Ellis-Bextor’s hypnotic vocals promises to captivate the dancefloor this summer. The contagious electropop collaboration is out now on all major digital streaming platforms via Casablanca Records.

Jaehn is an award-winning German DJ and producer with a bounty of gold, platinum, and diamond records. Jaehn’s remix of “Cheerleader” by the Jamaican singer Omi went #1 in the charts of 55 countries and spent six weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. In 2015, Jaehn had a global #1 hit with a remix of Rufus and Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody,” retitled as “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)” and featuring vocals from Jasmine Thompson. In 2016, Jaehn received Germany’s Bambi Award and has been voted Best Dance Act four consecutive times by the German 1Live Radio Awards. Jaehn has released two studio albums, 2018’s I and 2021’s Breathe.

After the breakup of her indie band Theaudience, British singer-songwriter Ellis-Bextor established herself as a solo artist in the early 2000s. Her first breakout track was a collaboration with Italian DJ Spiller titled “Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love),” which entered the UK charts at No. 1 and collected plentiful accolades. Ellis-Bextor released her debut album, Read My Lips, the following year. That record reached No. 2 on the UK charts and featured four top-20 singles including “Murder on the Dancefloor,” which was reportedly Europe’s most-played song of 2002.

Last year, “Murder on the Dancefloor” soundtracked a pivotal scene in Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn and became a viral phenomenon, re-charting globally and marked Ellis-Bextor’s first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100. The track now has over 750 million streams across DSPs. Also in 2023, Ellis-Bextor released her seventh album, Hana, which appeared in the Top 10 UK Album chart.
