In the area of tackles, William Saliba comes out on top with 26 successful tackles while Van Dijk had 23. However, Virgil Van Dijk surpassed Saliba in the area of interceptions as he made 39 interceptions while William Saliba only had 29. Both players enjoyed considerable success in duels.
