The annual Summer Trails Challenge kicked off in June, featuring 20 trails in the Interior.

Here’s how it works: Participants register for free at fairbanksak.myrec.com and hit the trails to search for signs that say “Fairbanks Trails Challenge.” Then, participants complete a checklist to receive a dry bag and chapstick.
