The Austin Fire Department extinguished a fire at a building in north Austin late Monday which they say has had multiple fires occur at recently.

AFD posted on social media around 11:00 p.m. they were at the scene of the fire at a building located on West Koenig Lane near N Lamar Blvd.

Crews say they were in the process of extinguishing the fire with "minimal extension into the structure." Fire crews were also performing multiple searches of the structure to make sure no one was inside.

A few minutes later, AFD said the fire was extinguished and nothing was found during their searches. No one was injured in the fire.

AFD said multiple fires have occurred at this address recently.
