New era of cooperation: Ministers address key issues in family and municipal affairs

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 6: Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, along with Dr. Noura Al-Mishaan, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, discussed implementing effective and sustainable solutions for the benefit of citizens.

A press release from the Ministry of Social Affairs on Friday stated that the meeting addressed various challenges and issues impacting the municipality, family, and childhood affairs sectors. The ministers exchanged ideas on cooperation to find sustainable solutions and discussed enhancing collaboration between ministries to improve services for residents. They agreed to initiate volunteer campaigns across different areas in Kuwait.

The statement highlighted that the collaboration between Ministers Al-Huwaila and Al-Mishaan signifies a joint effort between ministries to drive progress and development in various sectors, aligning with the country’s goals. This cooperation aims to enhance and develop services for citizens, particularly in their residential areas.

The meeting was attended by Musab Al-Mulla, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Cooperative Societies, who confirmed the Union’s commitment to organizing volunteer teams to serve local communities. Minister Al-Mishaan praised this initiative, recognizing its value in serving both the local regions and Kuwait as a whole.

Minister Al-Mishaan emphasized that these volunteer teams will have the opportunity to collaborate in improving the residential environment. This will be achieved in partnership with the Ministry of Municipality and relevant authorities, fostering community responsibility and cooperation among citizens.
