Jack Kesy Is The New Hellboy

With production wrapped and a release date coming soon, the cast of Hellboy: The Crooked Man is largely revealed. Most importantly, Jack Kesy is assuming the role of the half-demon Hellboy, and he is the third actor to portray the hero on the big screen after Ron Perlman and David Harbour. Joining Kesy as co-lead is Adeline Rudolph as rookie BPRD agent Bobbie Jo Song. Martin Bassindale will pull double duty in the new superhero movie as Hellboy's adoptive father Professor Trevor "Broom" Bruttenholm, and as the titular Crooked Man.

Taking its story directly from the Hellboy comics, Hellboy: The Crooked Man will follow the titular half-demon as he touches down in 1950s Appalachia along with a rookie agent from the BPRD. Once there, Hellboy finds himself in a rural community haunted by mysterious forces led by the villain known as The Crooked Man. Unlike other adversaries that require Hellboy's tremendous might to vanquish, the hornless hellspawn will need to use his wits to get to the bottom of The Crooked Man's mystery if he wants to save the struggling community.
