Yellowstone's Monica Long star has made public her first project following the end of the Western drama.

Yellowstone actress Kelsey Asbille is to star opposite an American Horror Story alum as she moves away from her days as Monica Long.

Actress Kelsey Asbille has been behind Kayce Dutton’s (played by Luke Grimes) wife and Broken Rock Indian Reservation resident Monica Long since Yellowstone debuted in 2018.

From brain surgery and family disputes, to an affair and the death of her newborn, Monica has been through a lot during the five seasons on Paramount Network.

The story is soon to be wrapped up for good though and already, the 32-year-old has landed another project that is currently in post-production.

According to her IMDb page, Asbille will be starring in a thriller alongside a very recognisable face for American Horror Story fans.

The Yellowstone actress will star in the upcoming movie Don’t Move which is expected to come out later this year.

Don’t Move’s disturbing synopsis reads: “It follows a seasoned killer as he injects a grieving woman with a paralytic agent. She must run, fight and hide before her body shuts down.”

Asbille is working with actor Finn Wittrock who has been in five seasons of FX’s American Horror Story, playing various characters.

In season four’s Freak Show Wittrock was Dandy Mott, he was Tristan Duffy in season five’s Hotel, Jether Polk in season six’s Roanoke, Bobby Richter in series nine’s 1984 and Harry Gardner in series 10’s Double Feature.

Wittrock has also been in a number of other hit TV shows and films throughout his 21-year career.

He’s got a string of other projects lined up apart from Don’t Move as well, such as Louie Westhampton and Start Without Me.

Filming for the final episodes of Yellowstone season five, part two, should soon begin with the release date scheduled for sometime in November.

Asbille previously opened up about how she’s feeling, knowing that it is the beginning of the end.
