Who wouldn't want to play a Metroidvania where you have 9 lives? Umbraclaw is a clever indie that took a long time to click with me but once it did, I became hooked thanks to its ever-evolving gameplay that constantly grants you nifty animal-based skills. π v1d30chumz 107-167-122-24

Mixture Review Award image βUltrawings 2 is another game that took a long time to grow on me, especially considering how challenging it is at the start. Once you learn the subtleties of its gameplay, it really becomes one satisfying flight sim that'll surely put your skills to the test. π©οΈ

Being packed with variety and plenty of funny moments, this VR adventure will have you help out with tons of silly tasks as a sushi restaurant becomes the talk of the town. How cute is that? π£

Gigantosaurus: Dino Sports Review Award image βFROGUN Encore is a sequel to the 2022 indie hit with more of an emphasis on co-op play and it's a heck of a lot of fun as you and a chum control Renata and Jake through a challenging and colourful co-op 3D platforming journey that's full of collectibles. πΈ
FROGUN Encore Review Award image βFruit Mountain is one of the best casual indies released in recent years with its relaxing fruit-throwing gameplay, top-notch visuals, and chill ambience. It may only be enjoyed in short sessions but that makes it more fun to dive into whenever you want to wind down. π
Fruit Mountain Review Award image βI'm very happy that I played Captain Toonhead vs. The Punks from Outer Space as it's one of the best tower defense games that I've enjoyed and the fact that it works so well in VR is just superb. With a funny story and rewarding gameplay, you're bound to love it. π―

Throw in a level creator and loads of replay incentives and you'll be one happy runner. πΆ
BIT.TRIP RERUNNER Review Award image βAs a huge fan of overhead racers, NeoSprint blew me away with its authentic gameplay, pixel-perfect presentation, and variety of elements that tie it all together including a course creation tool with unlockable parts. It's the perfect love letter to the genre. ποΈ

Yes, it's challenging but mastering the grappling hook gameplay as you blast away at enemies is such a thrill that this one was hard for me to put down. In fact, I think I'll go play it right now! π«
