It seems like Logan Paul didn’t take his loss against his arch-rival LA Knight and Santos Escobar well on SmackDown. True to form, he didn’t accept responsibility for his defeat and blamed the referee for counting too fast. Due to this loss, he failed to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match at next week’s PLE.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Logan Paul wrestled against LA Knight and Santos Escobar to qualify for the MITB ladder match. Initially, the heels formed a temporary alliance to eliminate The Megastar. In the final moments of the match, the Prime owner asked Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton to bring him the brass knuckles.

However, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson wasn’t having any of it, preventing the fellow NBA star from assisting Paul. This gave Knight the time he needed to gain the advantage and pin Logan, securing his ticket to Toronto. Following the embarrassing loss, the United States Champion and Haliburton blamed the experienced referee, Charles Robinson, for counting too fast. Not only that, but the Indiana Pacers star also took a dig at the New York crowd by saying they “suck.”

Hey look the ref counted a little fast tonight... didn't qualify for Money in the Bank. No problem, still the champ. Yeah, y'all suck Logan Paul via WWE backstage exclusive

According to several reports, the match between the two stars has already been earmarked for SummerSlam. The social media megastar has held the United States title for over 200 days but has also been criticized by fans for not defending it often. As a result, many fans are clamoring for their favorite star, LA Knight, to snatch the title from him at the biggest event of the summer.

Braun Strowman expressed his desire to win the United States Championship from Logan Paul

Braun Strowman is already a veteran in the WWE business, having won multiple championships and engaged in storied rivalries with the likes of Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns . However, if there is one title he has yet to win, it’s the United States title. The Monster Among Men expressed his desire to win that title in an interview.

While speaking with Steve Fall on Ten Count Media, Strowman discussed his career and overall title wins. He admitted that despite winning multiple championships in his career, the United States title has eluded him from achieving Grand Slam Champion status. The 40-year-old star has won the World, Intercontinental, and Tag Team titles but has never held the U.S. title in his long tenure.

All but one; that US Title that Logan Paul's has been running around with. That's the elusive thing keeping me from being a Grand Slam Champion. Braun Strowman via Ten Count Media

Strowman made a full-time return on night 2 of the 2024 WWE Draft and attacked The Judgment Day. He is currently feuding with the notorious faction on Monday Night Raw. Only time will tell if he decides to go after The Maverick in the future.
