WHEN you're about to give birth, you expect your partner to be there for you every step of the way.

But one woman was let down in the biggest way possible as her partner refused to drop her off for her C-section, leaving people furious for her.

Taking to social media she asked if she was unreasonable for wanting her partner to be with her as she got ready to give birth to their child.

She explained: "Partner didn't drive me to my C-section appointment.

"He decided he would go to work on the day of my C-section."

The soon-to-be mum was left hauling her heavy hospital suitcase on two buses to her C-section appointment as her partner had decided she would be fine doing that instead of dropping her off.

"Even though I'm walking gingerly at 39 weeks pregnant," she continued.

"He said he'd meet me there once the action starts, (but not a second before, what with the epidural injection, the prep and checks, he doesn't want to see all that)."

She was clearly gutted by her partner's decision as she had been left totally alone to go through the life changing experience.

"No emotional support, nor help, not even help with packing from the day/night before," she revealed.

"Instead he was hanging out with friends last night til 12 midnight."

While he assumed she'd be fine getting public transport, she thought differently and decided to get an Uber instead which cost her £17.

"I decided last minute to get an Uber, £17 to the hospital, and I've taken a screenshot of the fare so he can pay it," she rightfully added.

"I don't see why he couldn't give me a lift instead, and then come back with public transport himself. Am I being unreasonable?"

The post has since gone viral on Mumsnet and people were quick to take to the comments.

Not a single person had a nice thing to say about her partner, with many claiming he was too selfish to be a parent.

Signs your datign a narcissist

Dr Ramani Durvasula, a professor of psychology at California State University, Los Angeles revealed the top signs your partner is a narcissist.

  1. They 'love bomb' you at the beginning of the relationship
  2. They have tantrums and want everything all at once and if/when you can’t give it to them and struggle to get over it
  3. Critical comments such as comparing you to previous partners or degrading your appearance
  4. They often see themselves as the victim and nothing is their fault
  5. They become possessive with their space or controlling with cash

One person wrote: "What a selfish ar***ole."

Another commented: "Good luck with the future is all I can say."

"He needs to buck up his ideas big time," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "Start planning for life as a single parent."

"He’s an absolute selfish pig. Prepare yourself now for zero help with the baby and start planning your future without him. Think very carefully about giving your baby his surname if that’s your intention,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “I’d be done with him and wouldn’t let him come see baby in the hospital or after. What a piece of s**t."
