He adds that “talks going very well” between the two parties amid a desire on both sides to get a contract extension secured before the new Premier League season begins.

The journalist adds that Arteta personally wants to stay and continue his project with the North London club and that Arsenal are “super excited” about this long-term project that is going really well under the manager.
