TTRacing’s Titus Smart Desk is the Future-Proof Upgrade Your Workstation Needs

ign.com 2 days ago

More than meets the needs!

Something that many might take for granted is the advantage of having a reliable working desk. With a growing number of people working from home these days, we find ourselves increasingly glued to our desks, even when playing some of our favourite video games.

So what is the perfect desk for the modern-day worker? For us, the Titus Smart Desk from TTRacing stands out as an excellent choice. Don’t let the “smart” label confuse you; once you’ve tried it, a regular desk just won’t cut it anymore.

We’ve spoken about TTRacing’s Swift X Pro gaming chair before, and when combined with the Titus, it makes for a formidable and worthwhile combo.

Comfort of the Future

At first glance, one might think that the Titus Smart Desk may look a little plain and unremarkable. This simplicity is where the Titus hides many of the key features that make it stand out from the pack.

One might think that a smart desk would have a built-in screen or some sort of Bluetooth connectivity, but that isn’t what the Titus is going for. Its brand of “smartness” comes in the form of various comfort and accessible features.

Besides its wide table space, adjustable desk frame, and electric height adjustments, it also boasts memory presets for your needs. There’s also a retractable cup holder attachment that doesn’t take up any space from the table, which is very convenient.

How Smart is Smart?

Standing desks have become increasingly popular these past few years, so the fact that the Titus Smart Desk can convert into one at any time is very appreciated. Changing your work position throughout the day is a pretty good way of keeping yourself from sitting down too long.

While it may vary depending on your height, we found that the desk is perfect for those with an average height when it is in its standing mode. It is also cool that there are customisable alerts set for 30-, 45-, and 60-minute intervals, which keep you on your feet throughout the day.

The optional cable management bracket is a worthwhile addition in our opinion, considering how spacious the table can be, as the larger variants go up to 80cm in width. So, keeping your cables in check is a must if you’re looking to keep your desktop PC, a table lamp, and other items neat and tidy on the Titus.

Pinnacle Edge

Upon delivery, the Titus Smart Desk is pretty heavy, so be prepared to lug it up if your workstation is on a higher floor or if you live in a high-rise apartment. Assembly is easy enough, and even though we experienced some difficulties, the TTRacing team is more than happy to provide you with a video to address any assembly issues.

From what we’ve experienced, the highest the table can go is about 1.21m, which may be okay for shorter people, but taller folks may want to find a standing desk that can go even higher to suit their needs.

Overall, TTRacing’s Titus Smart Desk is something we didn’t think we needed, but it’s a welcome and worthwhile addition to our workstation. If you’re in the market for something new, we think you will find plenty to enjoy with the Titus Smart Desk.
