The Nollywood Industry has shown its support for actress, Teniola Aladese, following the tragic loss of her father, Egin Folorunsho, who passed away on June 21, 2024.

Teniola took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute, over the loss of her father. After her announcement, there has been an outpouring of condolence and tribute messages on her social media page from fans and colleagues within the Nollywood industry.

Among the heartfelt messages, breakthrough star Genevova Umeh shared, “Beautiful memories. A fantastic read. He’d be so proud of you.” Nancy Isime added, “My sincerest condolences Teni,” while Efa Iwara wrote, “May he rest in perfect peace,” expressing their sympathy and support for Teniola during this difficult time.

Nollywood stars such as Chris Okagbue, Elma Mbadiwe, and Stella Damascus also offered their heartfelt condolences. Chris Okagbue expressed, “Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry for your loss. May he rest in perfect peace,” while Elma Mbadiwe comforted Teniola with, “I’m so sorry babe, may Daddy’s soul rest in peace.”

He raised an amazing woman, and I’m sure he will always be proud of you.” Stella Damascus shared, “Awwww my darling. May his soul rest in peace. The holy spirit will comfort you and yours in Jesus’ name. It is well.”

Beyond individual messages, a wave of support swept through from the Nollywood industry with Nollywood stars like Mike Afolarin, Linda Osifo, Debby Felix, Elozonam, Bolaji Ogunmola, and Folu Storms expressing their solidarity with Teniola and extending condolences to her and her family.
