Anambra State House of Assembly, Committee on Works and Infrastructure, says the construction of Amawbia internal roads project, currently being handled by the state government, is progressing well.

During an oversight visit to the area, the committee members reviewed the ongoing work and assessed its adherence to the project timeline and specifications.

During the visit, the committee led by the member representing Orumba South Constituency, Engineer Emma Nwafor expressed satisfaction with the quality of work being executed, and commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for ensuring that the funds allocated for road projects are being used effectively and transparently.

Engineer Nwafor praised the contractor handling the project and urged him to expedite the construction process and finish within the stipulated timeframe to enhance the area’s accessibility.

He noted that the road when completed will help improve transportation and boost local economy.
