Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres has offered an update on his future amid interest from Chelsea over a summer move.

Nicolas Jackson seems to have the trust of his manager Mauricio Pochettino, but it does not look like that will stop CHELSEA from entering the market for a new No.9.

He has been impressive at time during his stint at Stamford Bridge, but he does not look like a forward that has the ability to push on and score 20-30 or even 40 goals a season for the Blues.

And that has led to constant speculation in the media over the past few months that Chelsea will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add another striker to that attack that has the ability to score goals and Gyokeres is reportedly on the list.

Now the striker has given the likes of Chelsea a chance to get a possible transfer deal done – The striker told Bola Na Rede: “It was a good day and we will definitely celebrate. Let’s see what will happen, it’s just beginning. It’s my first title.

‘I explain the celebration at the end of the season, after the league and cup. Let’s try to win everything. Ruben Amorim is a great coach, I wouldn’t mind if he continued (laughs). I had many coaches, but of course Ruben Amorim brought me here, he was very important in my career.

“Thank you Sportinguistas, see you soon. It’s football, I can’t promise anything, I have a contract and I won’t be sad if I stay, I’m very happy, but we’ll see what happens.

‘We can’t predict much, but let’s see what next year will be like, we still have games this season.”

The Premier League is not the Portuguese League and he could really struggle at a club like CHELSEA

So maybe a move to Stamford Bridge is not the right option?

GALLAGHER WANTS TO SIGN UP –

It has been claimed that Chelsea have made a decision over the future of Conor Gallagher, who wants to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

On Sunday afternoon, Gallagher netted his seventh goal of the season – in all competitions – with a wonderfully-struck volley. That goal, his second in three games, as well as his performance showcased his importance to CHELSEA.

The England international has just over 12 months remaining on his deal with Chelsea but the club are yet to open talks with the midfielder over an extension to his stay, football.london understands.

Gallagher would stay put at Chelsea and is keen to get talks opened over a new deal at the club, but there are some within the club who are said to believe selling the midfielder makes more business sense for the Blues.

From Chelsea’s point of view, they need to try and quash any speculation over his future before the window opens, but if they are open to letting him go then his good performances will only push up the value of the midfielder.

Gallagher has had a decent season for CHELSEA and scoring seven goals is not a bad return for the club – but if Chelsea want to push on and compete for the best – they need players that can score and create a whole load more.

If the right offer does arrive in the transfer window then we are sure that Chelsea will accept it – they are keen to keep on adding to the side and will need to sell in order to make some space.

However – if Pochettino stays then we are sure that Gallagher will get at least a contract extension.

CHELSEA IN SUDAKOV TALKS –

Chelsea have opened talks with Georgiy Sudakov after the Shakhtar Donetsk chief confirmed that the player will leave in the summer.

CHELSEA still have a few games left in the season in hope that they can finally get back into Europe  – but there has been alot of speculation in the media that Sudakov is a player that the Blues are very interested in.

It is no secret that there are a number of players that the club will look to sell at the end of the season, meaning that Mauricio Pochettino will need players to be signed and now Sudakov is on the agenda for that Blues board.

According to the Daily Mail, the Blues reportedly met the £65million-rated (€75m) player’s representatives in recent weeks to discuss the possibility of him moving to the west London club in the summer transfer window.
