Ahead of the forthcoming state congress of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state, a coalition of youth support groups have endorsed the president of the Victory Advocate of Nigeria (VAN), and Ekiti State Liaison Officer in the 2023 PDP presidential campaign management council, Prince Seyi Ajibola for the position of state youth leader.
In the communique signed by the representatives of the groups which comprised; The Narrative Force, Ekiti PDP Media Alliance, Victory Advocate for Nigeria, and PDP Solidarity Forum, among others, said Ajibola has demonstrated quality leadership that other youths should emulate.
Speaking on behalf of other groups, the Publicity Secretary of Emancipation of Youth for Good Governance, Comrade Ogunade Olalekan, and Miss Tolulope Akinyemi, coordinator of VAN in Ekiti State, the groups said his contributions to the development and success of the party are invaluable.
The communique reads, ” This decision is the culmination of extensive consultations with Ekiti PDP leaders and members, particularly the esteemed youth wing. After thorough evaluations and deliberations, we are pleased to announce Prince Ajibola Oluwaseyi as the consensus candidate for the position of Ekiti State PDP Youth Leader.
“Prince Oluwaseyi Ajibola’s exceptional leadership qualities, mobilisation skills, and dedication to the party at all levels make him the ideal candidate for this position. His commitment to the party’s growth and development is unwavering, and his leadership will inspire and mobilise youths to actively participate in the political process.
“Notably, Prince Seyi Ajibola’s contributions to the party extend beyond the ward, Local Government, and state levels. As the National President of the PDP support group, Victory Advocate of Nigeria (VAN), he has been instrumental in mobilising support for PDP candidates across the country for the past five years. His tireless efforts have earned him a well-deserved position on the PDP National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Edo gubernatorial elections.
“In these challenging times for our party in Ekiti State, we need capable and dedicated individuals like Prince Ajibola to steer the youth organ of the party towards achieving overall success for the party.
