Summary

  • Harriet Sansom Harris returns as Bebe Glazer in Frasier reboot season 2 in new set video.
  • Several guest stars, including Dan Butler and Edward Hibbert will also join the Frasier revival's sophomore year.
  • Bebe's Frasier reboot season 2 cameo may be happening separate from the KACL reunion episode with Bulldog, Gil, and Roz, which allows for creative storytelling that highlights her unique character.

The Frasier reboot season 2's live taping video offers the first look at Harriet Sansom Harris' return as Bebe Glazer. While the first 10 episodes of the Frasier reboot were light on the references and cameos from the character's past in the Emerald City, its sophomore year is about to change with several guest stars. Shortly after it was announced that Dan Butler and Edward Hibbert would reprise their roles as Bulldog Briscoe and Gil Chesterton, it was revealed that Frasier Crane's eclectic agent from Seattle would also find her way to Boston with a confirmed appearance in the revival.

In a new video from the filming of an episode of the Frasier reboot season 2 from Jess Salguiero's Instagram, Harris as Bebe can be seen with the cast. Check out a screenshot of the clip below:

Why Bebe’s Frasier Reboot Season 2 Return Is So Exciting

Harris' Bebe Always Brought Good Chaotic Energy To The Original Frasier

Being Frasier's agent during his earliest years in the radio industry, Bebe had encounters with people at KACL

Aside from Bulldog and Gil, Peri Gilpin is also set to reprise her role as Roz Doyle in season 2 after appearing in the Frasier reboot season 1 finale. As confirmed by official table read images, all three of them will appear in one episode, which is currently untitled but is directed by Grammer himself. Unless they haven't been called out yet when the aforementioned video was taken, it seems like Bebe's Frasier reboot return will be separate from that exciting KACL reunion outing, which is a bit disappointing, but is totally understandable.

Being Frasier's agent during his earliest years in the radio industry, Bebe had encounters with people at KACL. At one point, she even started representing Roz. That said, there are a couple of reasons why Bebe deserves her own episode separated from Frasier's reunion with her former co-workers. Firstly, Bebe is a firecracker of a character. Dealing with her and her antics can easily take up a whole episode. It would be a disservice to all parties involved to add her to the KACL special episode. Secondly, it allows the Frasier reboot to be more creative with Bebe's cameo.

Based on how the Frasier reboot season 2 is shaping, Sam and Diane's cameos will likely have to wait as it continues its Cheers disrespect.

It's difficult to predict what to expect from Bebe's Frasier reboot season 2 cameo, considering the type of person that she is. However, assuming that she is still an agent, she may be courting Frasier to sign up with her again, especially after his successful stint as the host of Dr. Crane in Chicago. Whether something comes out of this for a long-term storyline is uncertain, but at least it gives the revival a different storytelling route for the character instead of forcing Frasier to be a Harvard professor.
