Former Super Eagles star has revealed the name of the greatest Nigerian football player of all time.

Nigeria has produced several exceptional strikers, such as Daniel Amokachi, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Nwankwo Kanu, Obafemi Martins, and Victor Ikpeba.

However, Sunday Oliseh thinks that Rashidi Yekini is a different kind of striker and the greatest Super Eagles striker ever.

Oiiseh has played with a lot of strikers during his playing days but has said he has not seen anyone like Yekini.

According to Sunday Oliseh, the former coach of the Super Eagles, France are now the favourite for Euro 2024, with N'Golo Kante back.

Super Eagles legend Sunday Oliseh has made a bold Victor Boniface prediction after he led Bayer Leverkusen to a historic Bundesliga win.

Oliseh wrote on X, “Samson was simply exceptional. look at his first-touch control to dribble the defender, his composure & the world-class finish.

“Yekini’s intelligence to 1st attract many players to himself before releasing Sammy with the assist is why he is the greatest striker Nigeria has ever had!!”

Oliseh referred to Yekini as the best striker Nigeria has ever had, highlighting his deft play in setting up Siasia's spectacular goal.

Yekini scored 37 goals in 62 games, ranking first among Nigeria's international scorers. In 1993, he was named African Footballer of the Year.
