The Chief Medical Director of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, Professor John Okeniyi has advocated collaboration between Paediatric Dentistry and Paediatric cardiology for comprehensive care of children with health diseases.

It was a gathering of Paediatric Dentists from across the country.

They converged to brainstorm and exchange ideas on how to ensure improved and effective service delivery.

The Keynote speaker who is a consultant Paediatric Cardiologist, professor John Okeniyi speaks on the theme, “Advancing Paediatric Oral healthcare through the integration of wellness and well-being.

He believes health of the children must be taken care of holistically.

The President, Nigerian Association of Paediatric Dentistry, Doctor Ifeyinwa Adegbulugbe spoke on the choice of the topic.

She called for caution on what goes into the mouth.

Participants from different parts of the country shared their experiences.

The 7th biennial conference of the Nigerian Association of Paediatric Dentistry also featured presentation of gifts.
