Introducing the Sport: CAFR provided equipment such as balls and rackets, and volunteer Chelsea Pickleball players were on hand to instruct participants on the basics and regulations of the game. The objective of the event was to introduce new skills to individuals and foster connections among attendees of various generations.

Musical Delight: Adding to the lively atmosphere of Rec It Tuesday was the performance by Kedron, a group of talented Chelsea teenagers who entertained the audience with a mix of country, bluegrass, and Americana music. Their musical talents contributed to the festive ambiance of the event and heightened the overall enjoyment for all present.

Building Community Bonds: President Kristina Martin of CAFR highlighted the organization's mission of promoting recreational activities and building a sense of community. By collaborating with different associations and individuals, CAFR aims to nurture relationships and offer opportunities for people to engage with one another.

Rave Reviews: Attendees like Laura Ouellette, a USA Pickleball District Ambassador, shared their positive experiences of the event and praised the unique features of Chelsea's pickleball courts. The inclusive and friendly environment encouraged participants to socialize and embrace the spirit of amicable competition.

Exciting Upcoming Activities: The upcoming Rec It Tuesday events are set for July 9 at CDL for crafting reusable water balloons and July 16 for trying knockerball at the old Pierce Lake School. These forthcoming events promise enjoyable activities and further chances for community members to gather and interact.

Joining the Community: Secretary Trista Palmer of CAFR extended a warm invitation to new members to join the organization and partake in future events. While donations are appreciated, they are not mandatory, ensuring that everyone, including individuals and families, can engage in outdoor pursuits and create lasting memories together.
