There's another swathe of changes coming to your Freeview-powered TV including two channels arriving and one service, which only launched in May, confirming it's shutting down for good. First up, there are those new channels coming to UK homes with That’s Memories and Trace UK both now live across the country.

That's Memories, which is part of the That's TV group of channels, promises to offer nostalgic documentaries about music stars such as Elvis, The Monkees and Frank Sinatra. There are also historical shows about cities such as London, programmes featuring true crime and more. If that sounds enticing you'll find it on Channel 71.

Next, there's the Trace UK service which brings a range of diverse content including music, culture and lifestyle to screens. Trace UK has been available on platforms such as Sky and Samsung TVs for a while but this is the first time it has come to Freeview.

Speaking about the launch, Tanya Kronfli, head of business development said: “We are thrilled to add Trace UK to our platform. Channelbox is committed to delivering diverse and engaging content to our viewers, and Trace UK’s unique programming aligns perfectly with our mission.”

You'll find Trace TV via Channel 271.

So that's the good news but there is a disappointing update as well.

One channel, that arrived back in May, has now officially confirmed it's no longer on air.

Seen on TV suddenly disappeared from TV guides late last month. At first, it was suggested that technical issues had caused the blackout and things might return but now the team behind Seen on TV have confirmed its demise and say it's closing for good.

"This was a statement I was trying to put off, but it is with great sadness we are announcing the closure of Seen on TV," said Simon from the Seen on TV team.

"When I and our small team set out our vision for this channel it was based on fulfilling a gap in the market with a loyal customer base looking for branded items at excellent prices. We also just wanted to have fun doing what we loved most. We achieved this goal in launching Seen on TV, but sadly financial and technical restraints out of our control have led to its closure.

"The technical issues were so severe, the cost to fix them are just too high to responsibly carry on and we have had to call in external help and there are still ongoing investigations. I am glad in the week we were live, we were able to put a smile on your faces and entertain you."

If you are not seeing the new channels then it's worth giving your Freeview device a quick retune - find out how to restart your television or set-top box here.
