Considering what many political heavyweights in Anambra State describe as political selfishness, inaccessibility and none settlement of many political structures that brought him into power in the last election, chances of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term have become very slim and almost impossible.

This is coming from the fact that as the 2025 election is drawing nearer, many of the super structures that teamed up to vote in Soludo are now pulling out and collapsing their arsenals into Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s All Progressive Congress (APC).

The latest is the Anambra Men and Women for Soludo (AMWfS) powered by Chief Dr. Anthony Okeke (Ezekweche Aguleri) now collapsed to Ezekweche Vanguard for Ubah in the state.

Again, the strongest support Group for Soludo in Lagos during the last election, also led by Chief Dr. Okeke, recently collapsed their superstructure into Ikemba Front; all for the success of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in upcoming the 2025 gubernatorial election in the state.

Business Hilights recalls that Senator Ubah had declared interest to contest in the 2025 Anambra governorship election in January this year, thus triggering unprecedented rise in support group due to his track record of service deliveries in the state even before now.

Speaking in an interview on Friday, July 5, 2024, Chief Dr. Okeke, the immediate former President of Mandilas United Traders Association (MUTA), owners of Mandilas International trade Centre (MITC), Lagos International Trade Fair complex, said there is need to move Anmabra State forward politically and economically and the best candidate for the movement come 2025 remains Senator Ubah.

Continuing, the current PRO of Ndigbo Amaka sociocultural group in Lagos State added that his structures both at home and in Lagos are strong and well-coordinated for electoral deliveries, saying we did it before, we are going to do it for Ubah come next year.

While realizing that supporting Soludo was a huge political mistake made in Anambra, he assured that with his group and ongoing political support realignments for Senator Ubah, all is set for APC to take over Anambra come 2025 with Senator Ubah as governor.
