Scots e-scooter rider fighting for life in hospital after crash with lorry
A Scots e-scooter rider is fighting for their life in hospital after a crash with a lorry.
The incident took place at at around 11am on Friday July 5 on Paisley Road West and emergency services raced to the scene following reports of a crash.
A 54-year-old was rushed to hospital by ambulance where medics described his injuries as 'life-threatening'..
The road was closed for around four hours while cops probed the scene to establish the full circumstances.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “This collision occurred on a busy road in the middle of the day, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened to please come forward."
He added: “If you have any relevant dashcam footage or private CCTV that could assist our investigation or saw an e-scooter in the area prior to the crash, please contact us.”
