According to Turkish outlet Sports Digitale, negotiations between Italian club Lazio and Dele-Bashiru’s Turkish club, Hatayspor, have progressed positively, setting the stage for the Nigeria international’s move ahead of the upcoming season.

The 23 year-old who has been a standout performer in the current campaign, boasting seven goals and six assists in 35 appearances across two competitions, has caught the attention of top clubs with his stellar performances.

Lazio however needs to meet the club’s valuation of £10 million to secure Dele-Bashiru’s services.

Additionally, the proposed deal is rumored to include a future sell-on clause, potentially inflating the transfer fee to £20 million.

Despite Lazio’s strong interest, Dele-Bashiru has also been linked with other European clubs including AC Milan, as well as a possible return to England, still on the cards.
