Ekiti Receives Food Aid: 12,800 Bags of Grains and 3,000 Bags of Garri from Federal Government

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has delivered palliatives to Ekiti State as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s initiative to alleviate national economic challenges.

Represented by South West Coordinator Mr. Stephen Adewale, NEMA ensured equitable distribution, with 20% of the food items designated for local governments and 3% allocated to boarding schools across various local governments in Ekiti State.

Deputy Governor Chief Monisade Afuye received the donations, expressing gratitude for President Tinubu’s support and affirming their strategic impact on Nigeria’s economic recovery efforts.

Afuye emphasized the strategic importance of President Tinubu’s policies in overcoming Nigeria’s economic difficulties and assured that the distributed items would reach their intended beneficiaries promptly.

The initiative underscores ongoing efforts to mitigate economic challenges and support vulnerable communities in Ekiti State.
