In the latest Health Cluster Bulletin for March and April 2024 in Yemen, it has been reported that a total of 3,568 Health Facilities are being supported by Health Cluster Partners. These include 31 Governorates General Hospitals, 127 District Rural/Inter-district Hospitals, 10 Specialized Hospitals, 16 Authority Hospitals, 1041 Health Centers, 2,213 Health Units, 12 Private facilities, and 15 others.
Health Cluster Coordination Meetings and Activities
During this period, the Health Cluster conducted a total of 16 Health Cluster coordination meetings and 7 ad hoc meetings at various levels including National, AoR, and Hub levels in areas like Aden, Al Hudaydah, Ibb/Taizz, Sa'dah, Sana'a, Marib, Hadramout, and the West Coast. Additionally, over 52 technical meetings were conducted, covering important topics such as ICCM, RCT, TWGs, inter-sectoral issues, and government meetings. The Health Cluster also carried out 13 field visits and held more than 46 bilateral meetings with various partners, donors, government entities, and stakeholders.
Training and Workshops
The Health Cluster was actively involved in conducting 1 training session and 2 workshops to further enhance the healthcare support and coordination in Yemen. The efforts of the Health Cluster Partners in supporting and coordinating health facilities in Yemen during this period are commendable, and their commitment towards improving the healthcare situation in the region is evident through their various meetings, visits, and training sessions.
