Fun, flair, Kasi flavour is what defined the game between the Zebras legends and Bafana Bafana legends, as the visitors whipped Zebras by two goals to zero on Saturday evening at the National Stadium.

With great anticipation from the local football fanatics to witness the legends donning their national colours once more, the game surely lived up to expectations as Bafana Bafana continued their dominance over Zebras. From the first whistle, the two sides showed their intention to show the fans in attendance they still got it as they went pound to pound probing for an early goal. Bafana Bafana had the most chances in the early half of the game forcing Noah Maposa to pull off great saves to deny both Katlego Mphela and Teko Modise from close range.

Zebras legends bottled the chance to take the lead after they broke on counter attack that saw the two brothers, Pontsho Moloi and Dirang Moloi playing short passes and the latter’s shot went wide. With over 25 minutes played, Bafana Bafana broke the deadlock through Siphiwe Tshabalala’s free-kick goal that left Maposa flat footed. Just like last year in the first edition of the Clash of Legends, fans in attendance switched on their flashlights and flashed them to savour in the moment of seeing their legends once more. The two sides went to the break with Zebras trailing by one goal. From recess, the home side tried numerous times to turn around the score line but luck was not on their side.
