The District Superintendent, Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Prayer Mountain of Mercy, District Headquarters, Ojoo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Pastor Isaiah O. Alade, popularly known as ‘Omo Woli’, has called on the Security Agencies to increase the level of security around Worship Centres, Public Places, Recreation and others for more protection of lives and property of citizens across the Country.
Pastor Alade made the call while speaking with Journalists in Ibadan on the issue of prevalence insecurity in Nigeria.
The Cleric who maintained that, though Security Agencies are trying, added that they should put more measures in place to curb crimes in the society.
He urged religious leaders to be more security conscious in their respective places of worship, saying, all hands must be on deck on the issue of security as it cannot be left for government alone to do, calling on people to be more vigilant in the day and night.
“I want the Nigeria Police and other sister Agencies to have a robust synergy towards ensuring security of lives of innocent citizens irrespective of where they are in the Country and all will be much better for it”.
Pastor Alade, however, advised Parents and Guardians to teach their Children in the ways of God, as they play major roles in the upbringing of these Wards, hence, they should build a solid foundation for them to live a worthy life in the society.
“Quality Parental Roles on Children will no doubt create a right path for Children to succeed and contribute meaningfully to the Society and Parents are to be responsible for the physical, moral, religious and mental development of their Children for our Society to enjoy absolute Peace”.
The District Superintendent appealed to people with criminal intentions to shun the act by repenting and come closer to God Who is capable of making them relevant and using them as vessels to reposition the society for better.
Pastor Alade said, God is merciful and ready to receive them back to Him if they quickly retrace their Steps back to the right path before it is too late.
