Bullish TikiTaka Nigeria fly out to Denmark, Sweden
A very confident TikiTaka Nigeria squad of 21 players and coach tonight flew out from Abuja to Denmark and Sweden in quest for glory.
The squad will feature in the Cup 1 in Denmark, which kicks off Monday, before they head out to Sweden for this year’s Gothia Cup.
The team will kick off their 2024 Gothia Cup campaign on Monday, July 15.
They are drawn in the Elite U17 Boys Group 3 against Degerfors IF and Elfsborg as well as FK Cukaricki of Serbia.
“We have prepared long and hard for the tournaments,” said coach Cornelius Monday.
“We have a very talented team who are determined to make history in Europe.”
