Gun attack alarms western Sydney with a second drive-by shooting in less than two days.
Police are investigating a second drive-by shooting in Sydney within as many days.
Emergency crews rushed to Briggs Place at St Helens Park, about 7.15pm yesterday over reports of shots being fired into a house.
The house and a car had been hit, but three people inside the home were found to be uninjured.
A dark-coloured Audi sedan was spotted leaving the scene.
Police set up a crime scene and are continuing investigations today.
The shooting came after a Western Sydney family home was hit by bullets on Tuesday night in what police say was a drive-by shooting.
Officers said several shots had been fired from a light-coloured car at the house on Myall Street, Merrylands.
No injuries were reported.
NSW Police Acting Commissioner Darren Beech said the shooting was a suspected gangland hit on the wrong house.
Anybody with information about the shootings should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
