David Raya kept a clean sheet in his first game at a major international tournament, earning his sixth cap for Spain in a 1-0 win over Albania on Monday night.

Ferran Torres gave Spain the lead in the 13th minute, tucking the ball in off the post.

David was called into action on the brink of half-time, making a strong save to deny Kristjan Asllani from long range.

He made another good save in the 66th minute to prevent Armando Broja from equalising, before doing the same with a catch in the second minute of added time.

With three wins from three in Group B, Spain are through to the round of 16 and will face one of the four best third-placed teams at 8pm BST on Sunday, June 30.

Meanwhile, over in Leipzig, Jorginho was making his 57th appearance for Italy in their 1-1 draw with Croatia, in which he played 82 minutes.

Italy gave Croatia a chance to take the lead early in the second half when a review took place for a potential penalty check. VAR spotted a handball by Davide Frattesi and Croatia were awarded a spot kick.

Luka Modric stepped up to take it but Gianluigi Donnarumma got down to his left to make the save. However, Modric did find the back of the net seconds later by latching onto a loose ball in the six-yard box and smashing it in for 1-0.

But, right in the dying embers - the eighth minute of stoppage time - Italy pulled one back through Mattia Zaccagni finding the top right corner.

What the draw means for Italy is that they finish second in Group B on four points and will meet Switzerland in the round of 16 at 5pm BST on Saturday, June 29.
