The Nigerian Bar Association is the authentic voice of the civil society in Nigeria and as the country navigates the present challenges, we must remain consistent in our commitment to promote the rule of law and advancement of the due administration of justice. We must not fail to hold government accountable and protect the civil space in Nigeria.
It has become imperative that I lend my voice to enable us safeguard and make credible choice in this coming elections of our noble Association.

I have been a past President and Life Member of the Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, a past President of the Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU), a past National General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, a past National Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, a past Council member of the Council of Legal Education, and a past member of the Governing Council of the Legal Aid Council, and I believe that I know what is required to serve as NBA president and do so effectively.

It is with humility of purpose and deep sense of reasoning that I wholeheartedly endorse a man with a good sense of judgement and character. A man who has served our noble association in various capacities and has left a track record of results without any blemish.

Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe is a man of courage, a man of conviction and a man whose life story and success in the Nigerian Bar Association has given him an intimate understanding of the kind of leadership we need now.
Mazi Afam Osigwe is a Unifier. He will restore the fortunes of our association and will stand for and do what is right at all times. Mazi is dependable, trustworthy and reliable.

I hereby call on lawyers of good conscience to join us in us in our support for a great and unified Bar.
Mazi Afam Osigwe is the clear candidate in this election. Mazi has the experience to do this job. Nigeria is at cross roads.
I believe Mazi Afam Osigwe when elected will restore the values of our association and The Bar will once again take the center stage for standing for the rule of law and what is fair for Nigeria as a nation.
