While many presidents have used planes to travel to various countries, many of those planes were not specifically designed to hold a president and their retinue.

The current design of the plane was first used during the presidency of John F. Kennedy.

The specially configured Boeing 747-200B also features a wide range of amenities that one would never find onboard a commercial airplane.

Air Force One features two entrances in both the front and rear of the aircraft, reports CBS.

While the president, their family and other important visitors use the front entrance, the one in the rear is usually reserved for journalists.

One of the most important features of the plane is the president’s office.

The office, which was located near the front of the plane, serves as a mobile White House and was fully upgraded to allow the president to communicate with the nation whenever they needed to.

According to the report, there is also a fully-stocked medical compartment with an on-staff nurse close to the office.

The plane also features a very cozy bedroom for the president nestled into the very front of the plane.

CBS reports that the suite has foldable couches and a private bathroom.

Air Force One’s bedroom has become a talking point after Biden, 81, reportedly told Democratic governors in a meeting that he needed to get more sleep and work fewer hours.

Biden made the disturbing remarks on Wednesday during a meeting with more than two dozen of his important supporters, according to The New York Times.

During the meeting, Biden detailed his extensive foreign travel schedule in the weeks before the presidential debate.

At one point, Hawaii Governor Josh Greeh asked him about his health, to which Biden replied that he was fine.

“It’s just my brain,” Biden said, which some attendees at the meeting took lightly, according to the outlet.

A Biden-Harris campaign spokesman backed the president’s efforts to get a better sleep schedule.

“President [George W.] Bush went to bed at 9, President [Barack] Obama made dinner at 6:30,” the spokesman told The New York Times.

“Normal presidents strike a balance, and so does Joe Biden.”

“Hardly the same rigor as Donald Trump, who spends half of his day ranting on Truth Social about plans that would cause a recession and the other half golfing,” he said.

Biden’s latest remarks have only fueled the concerns of supporters, who have called on him to abandon his reelection efforts for the country’s sake.
