Napoli are facing the possibility of having to reduce their asking price for striker Victor Osimhen for the second time, as no clubs have made an approach for the Nigerian forward despite the club's hopes to sell him this summer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Recall Nigeriasoccernet indicated that Napoli had reduced Osimhen's asking price from €120m-€130m to €100m, but even with this reduction, no offers have materialized.

This lack of interest may pose a problem for Napoli and new coach Antonio Conte, who may be relying on Osimhen's sale to fund other transfer targets, including a potential deal for Chelsea-owned striker Romelu Lukaku.

Osimhen's current wages of around €10m per season may also be unsustainable for Napoli long-term, particularly if they aim to rebuild under Conte this summer.

The 25-year-old signed a new deal with Napoli in December, running until 2026, with a release clause believed to be around €120m-€130m.

Napoli had anticipated interest from top clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain, but no official approaches have been made as Osimhen isn’t willing to Saudi Arabia.

Napoli again are now reconsidering their asking price to secure a deal this summer.
