The is the case of a woman, Oluwakemi Oriowo Joseph, who’s arrest has been ordered by Justice Friday Ogazi,of Federal High Court of Lagos, over her persistent failure to appear before the court to take her plea on charges of cyber stalking and perjury.

The woman, was billed to take her plea on Friday, on 11 count-charge of cyber stalking and perjury made against her by the police. But when the matter was called neither the woman nor her lawyer, Anziaobong Akpan, was in court.

Following the none appearance of the defendant and her lawyer at the Friday’s proceedings, the prosecutor, Uhumwangho informed the court that at the last hearing of the matter, her lawyer promised to produce her.

He said: “at the last adjourned date, I did asked for a Bench Warrant and there was a counsel, who appeared for the defendant. After my address, the court asked the counsel to produce the defendant today.

“The counsel was seen in the court premises this morning but he did not come to the courtroom. He didn’t write a letter, he didn’t put his name on the cause list.
